You mistakenly assume I blame Trump for the current state of affairs. I never said that. Don’t assume. You also assume that I am a “liberal” and by extension, a Democrat. I am neither. I am an Independent Progressive. I loathe both parties for abandoning the middle class over the last 50 years. I hate Hillary Clinton even more than I hate Trump, and I detest Obama as much as I do Reagan. You are probably surprised. No, Americans must stop feeding into the duopolistic way of thinking. You and me are not enemies, but the oligarchy wants us to be. They have maintained their power by dividing the people. Our common enemy is the ruling class that has plundered our nation’s wealth and made most of us wage slaves, all while selling us the myth that America is great.

Whether you like it or not, our economy already has Socialistic elements in it: K-12 public schools, fire and police departments, publicly funded roads, and Social Security. Quit getting hung up on labels. It’s that kind of fear mongering that those in power love for the people to feel and use as a wedge against each other. I don’t watch MSM, another false assumption you make. I literally threw out my TV almost four years ago. CNN, MSNBC, and FOX all broadcast propaganda for the ruling class.

So many assumptions, so little correct.

Oh, and the slippery slopes argument is just utter BS that isn’t supported by any data, just fear.

As for eating healthy, I do. But you are discounting genetics. My father died at 53 from heart failure. He also ate healthfully.

Also, I have worked full-time since I was 18 and I am now 50. I never have been unemployed, never been on public assistance, and was homeless when I was 17 due to a mentally ill mother, so please quit telling people like me I want a government handout. I’m one of the most responsible, self-sufficient people you could ever know. But again, you made an assumption, and once again, you assumed incorrectly.
